FAQ · ZenovaOS Platform

Frequently asked questions

Platform selection & compatibility, fleet overview, and single-plant monitoring.

01

How does ZenovaOS use its AI agent to improve O&M efficiency for distributed PV plants?

ZenovaOS embeds ZenovaAI as a native module sharing the same accounts, permissions, and data source as the monitoring platform. Operators can ask in natural language — e.g. "alarm distribution last 30 days" or "which equipment caused the most generation loss" — and the system auto-invokes 12 Monitor tools (plant, inverter, meter, irradiometer, robot, alarm, collector, combiner, billing, API, etc.) to produce charts and structured conclusions. Combined with graded alerts (P0/P1/P2) and auto-ticket dispatch, ZenovaAI takes over repetitive queries and reports, freeing field engineers for true decision exceptions. We've seen 2-5x O&M efficiency in deployed projects.
02

How is ZenovaOS different from vendor-owned clouds like Huawei FusionSolar or Sungrow iSolarCloud?

Vendor clouds only see their own devices — a mixed-fleet plant goes blind. ZenovaOS supports 8 mainstream inverter cloud APIs (Huawei, Sungrow, Growatt, Ginlong Solis, GoodWe, Sofar, HopeWind, APsystems) plus full-protocol direct capture over RS485 / Modbus / IEC 104, so multi-OEM devices land in one cockpit. It also bundles three native capabilities — digital twin, smart settlement, and AI agent — which vendor clouds typically lack.
03

What plant scales is ZenovaOS suited for?

From residential to GWp-scale utility. Today we manage 860+ plants, 1.40 GWp of installed capacity, across 360+ counties / districts. Pricing scales with installed power (Standard ¥1500/MW·yr, Pro ¥3000/MW·yr), suitable for single C&I plants up to multi-plant portfolios.
04

What modules does the multi-plant overview include?

ZenovaOS fleet overview puts the whole portfolio in one cockpit, with four core modules: (1) asset overview (installed capacity, today/month/cumulative generation, equivalent hours, PR, availability); (2) revenue overview (cumulative/YTD/last-month revenue, grid-vs-project tariff variance, settlement completion and collection rate, aging alerts); (3) alarm aggregation (real-time alarms graded P0/P1/P2, sorted by plant and device, one-tap ticket dispatch); (4) regional distribution (geographic plant map, capacity and generation by province/county, color-coded status). Every plant sits in one unified view — no switching between vendor clouds.
05

Why do multi-site owners need a unified overview instead of per-vendor clouds?

Vendor clouds only see their own devices, and multi-site owners otherwise juggle accounts across provinces, EPCs and inverter brands. The ZenovaOS fleet overview unifies generation, revenue, alarms and regional distribution into one view, so management reads asset scale, daily output and collection risk at a glance — and spots which region or plant is lagging.
06

What data can the single-plant monitoring view show?

ZenovaOS single-plant monitoring drills from fleet down to one plant, with five core data groups: (1) live operation (minute-level power curve, today/month generation, live irradiance, PR, theoretical vs actual); (2) inverters (per-unit DC/AC power and efficiency, internal temp, status codes, online state, multi-OEM unified); (3) strings (live current/voltage, same-MPPT dispersion, shading/mismatch/dropout detection); (4) metering (gateway/grid-point readings, export, consumption, self-use ratio); (5) environment (horizontal/tilted irradiance, module temp, ambient temp, wind). Faults pinpoint to device, string, even module.
07

How does it tell whether a generation dip is weather or a fault?

ZenovaOS feeds in pyranometer, module temperature, ambient temperature and wind as the benchmark. It correlates the live power curve against concurrent irradiance and theoretical output — if irradiance drops in sync, it's weather; if irradiance is normal but generation falls, it pinpoints the specific inverter or string as an equipment-fault alarm. This avoids mistaking weather swings for faults, and avoids missing real underperformance.
